Serving Clients in Virginia, Washington DC, California, & Massachusetts
From the time we are born, we are put into boxes by the world around us.
But what do we do when the boxes don't fit?
Especially these days, gender expansiveness can feel scary.
Gender trauma is real.
But living inauthentically is excruciating.
You are ready for a real change

My name is Rachel, and I Can Help
I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1 trained psychologist who works with intuitive, curious adults who want to explore their gender and find joy in sharing their authentic self with the world. Together, we can help you to become your truest, most beautiful self.
I use IFS to help clients explore gender identity without pressure or agenda, working with the different parts of you that may feel excitement, fear, or uncertainty.
Over a decade and a half of practice, I've supported transgender, nonbinary, and gender expansive clients through every stage of this process, from early gender exploration to surgical readiness letters, and I've seen how much the quality of that support matters.
I work with clients in person in Fairfax County (Springfield, VA) and virtually via telehealth in Virginia, Washington DC, Massachusetts, and California. I am an out of network provider and can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, Click here for information about my fees and practice policies.
Letters of Support for Gender Affirming Surgeries (GAS)
I also provide single session evaluation meetings for those seeking Gender Affirming Surgery (GAS) letters of support. All letters conform to the WPATH Standards of Care (SOC 8).
These sessions are priced using an economic justice pricing model, with a sliding scale from $350 all the way down to $0. Those who can afford to pay some or all of the fee subsidize those who are not able to pay; either way, I believe cost should never be a barrier to medically necessary surgery.
Confidentiality
All sessions are completely confidential, with some very specific limits around protecting your and others’ safety and court orders that we will discuss in our first session.
I take your privacy extremely seriously — including with family members or employers.
Therapy is a space that gets to be just for you.
